If Meshmatic is crashing while processing a file it could be because your hardware is failing or your file is carrying a bug. We recommend running your files in Meshmatic at least three more times since it is possible for a crash to correct itself after multiple tries.
Additionally we have a checklist for you when Meshmatic is crashing when processing your file:
- If it's an assembly model, make sure it doesn't have missing references (or broken links).
- Make sure your 3D filename doesn't start with number or special characters or non-English characters.
- Make sure your 3D file has read and write permission.
- Make sure the 3D file is not a remote file or a shortcut link (OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.)
If Meshmatic still can't process the file, contact support at support@meshmatic3d.com
